This is a really super Christmas gift. The Calamondin are nice and bushy plants with plenty of very ripe orange fruits ready to use on arrival in your mulled wine. The spices are tied up in an attractive pouch and a full-size bottle of wine - just enjoy warmed with the fruit and spices. Good to know: When the fruit are ripe like this it is not unusual for some to drop off in transit. the good news is that harvesting the fruit will trigger the plant into flowering again for your next crop. Calamondin fruits can be used either green or orange and are really good to experiment with. When green they taste more like limes, whereas when left to ripen they have a sour but more fragrant orange flavour. Delicious either way.
