Calamondin Tree

One of the easiest citrus varieties to grow.

One of our most popular citrus varieties for good reason – easy going, with lovely scented blooms, neat foliage and loads of fruit even on a small tree.

This week's calamondins are covered in ripening green fruits that are just starting to turn orange, and will carry on slowly ripening over the coming weeks and months. Harvesting the ripe fruit triggers more heavenly-scented flowers and the promise of the next crop.

The perfect windowsill citrus – great for beginners, to brighten a kitchen or table top. The fruits are tart but delicious in a G&T, or try your hand at calamondin marmalade!

Good to know: even though we carefully wrap all our plants, when fruit is heavy or ripe it's not unusual for the odd one to be dislodged in transit.
