Large Grapefruit Tree

This stunning Grapefruit Tree (Citrus paradisi) produces fragrant white flowers in spring, followed by tasty grapefruits later in the year. A rare citrus to find in the UK and a great gift for the citrus enthusiast or someone looking to grow something a little different.

• Produces the same large, tangy grapefruits grown commercially, eaten fresh from the tree
• Expect 1-2 fruits in the first year, more as the tree matures
• Needs more cold protection than lemon trees — best indoors over winter, patio only in the warmest months
• Water from the top, letting the soil dry out between waterings; never let roots sit in water
• Benefits from a weekly citrus feed through summer
• Comes gift-wrapped with a choice of pot and detailed care instructions
