Young Fig Tree

This Mediterranean fig tree is surprisingly easy to grow and look after in the UK. In the long term they are happiest outside, or they can be kept in a cool light spot indoors for a short time. These dwarf fig trees do particularly well in this country and will eventually grow into 1-2m trees in a sheltered spot in the garden.

A fruity variety called Morena, these younger fig trees have put on masses of new growth this year. Being deciduous, they drop their leaves for winter. A fab addition to the garden and a great gift for someone who likes to grow their own.
